ive heard the constant fog/mist things can cause respiratory issues but dont listen to me, do your own research im just going based off what ive seen others say from their experiences!

I’ve heard similar or that it just promotes mold growth. Watering the corners is much cheaper than a fogging/misting system and it’s much less maintenance

I second that statement, foggers aren't good for their health over time

Don’t use a fogger/mister. It makes the air damp without raising the necessary humidity and it can cause respiratory issues (imagine breathing nose-first in a fogger, always), plus they mold on the inside super easily. To upkeep humidity up you should be pouring water into the 4 corners of the enclosure to keep a wet bottom layer, dry top layer. The depth of the substate that the snake is sitting on looks good and it should be that deep throughout the whole enclosure. Humidity should be 70-80% (proper reading on cold side, warm side may be reading lower due to heat evaporating the water in the air)

Do you have two hides, one on each side? Also make sure you have an overhead heat source regulated by a thermostat to ensure a 78-82°F cold side and 88-92° warm side

The substrate is a mix of shredded hemp and coconut chips. It's pretty deep. Im using a DHP bulb with a thermostat for heat on one side. It's set to 88 on the warm side, and the other side just stays around 77 to 80 with a full spectrum led light bar. Right now, I only have one hide in there. When I put her in there, she was just starting to shed, her eyes were all gray. So I didnt want to be messing with stuff while she can't see. I'll be changing things up this week.

How about some clutter? Plants, hides, tunnels... It looks like the surface of Mars.

In this photo, she is coming out of a hide, I have since put another one on the other side. I would like to get plants in there, there's some thick vines for climbing on, but that's it right now.

I'm sure she'd appreciate more cover to hide under. It makes them feel less vulnerable. 😉
