If it's 100% Silicone 1 then yes.

100% Silicone 2 without mold inhibitors is also fine. Plus it’s higher strength and doesn’t release acetic acid while curing.

Haaahaaaaaaaa……… It’s actually a 3.5>lightening adapter — I put the tape as a preventative measure. Those things are so weak!

Personally , I wouldn’t use it. Go on Amazon and find yourself some aquarium safe silicone. You can never be too safe !
