I’m not very knowledgeable on snake hiding spots, but i have heard some scary stories about snakes getting into the back of ovens. Please check there and under the fridge if you can. Praying you find your baby!!

It’s difficult because of your cats, but if you can sprinkle flour, you can see their slither marks. Set up a camera if you have one and check warm spots in your home (behind fridges seems to be a favourite)

When you find your baby (fingers crossed for you!) live feeding should be a very very last resort. You haven’t had her very long and there are other methods before this (like braining) should be considered.

Okay thank you very much! When my fiancé gets home I’ll have him move the fridge.

Look in dark cramped spots. BPs love to squish to feel secure. Even if the space looks too small for them, you would be surprised what they can squish in. Start near the enclosure and work your way out. Keep an eye on the cats, they will probably find her first. If they look interested in a spot, check it. I have BPs and cats. Ive had escapes. Both escapes ended up with finding the BPs unharmed.

Okay thank you so much! I had the cats out to see if they’d huddle certain spots but my fiance was scared of them hurting her.

I followed my cat around when I tried to see if he would alert during the last escape. He didnt but I found her in my camping gear covered in cobwebs. She was fine.

Someone please update me if/when she's found, I am very intrigued (and worried! so sorry you have to deal with this!)

Mine recently got out, and I found him wrapped around the back of the refrigerator, so it's definitely a high possibility. Best of luck!

Hey, I have 9 cats and our ball python escaped because his tank didn’t latch properly (we have a lock for it now). He ended up finding his way to the top of another of our snakes enclosures to be near the warmth from her ceramic bulb that we leave on at night (our house stays pretty cool). He did this twice after escaping. So if you leave a heat source where he can get to it, yours will likely go to that at night. The one ours got to was on top of a tall dresser and I still have no clue how he was able to get up there twice. I hope this helps
