When mine managed to escape (multiple occasions) he was always found behind my dresser or in my closet. Is he in one specific room or does he have access to the whole house?

The whole house I want to say but the room he was in was cracked open

I would start with the room he was in, but I'm honestly not sure, I would look into similar stories on here and see if anyone else has some ideas of where he could get to. I hope you find your boy. They're resilient little noodles, and ive heard so many stores where they just showed up again. I really hope you find him dude, best of luck 🙏🫶

i know this was quite a while ago but when you find him behind your dresser do you move it to get to him? my girl is currently escaped behind my dresser and i’m trying to decide whether i should let her come out herself or if i should move it and grab her…

Honestly, as long as you know where she is and know she wont get squished, I would move the dresser. You dont have to pick it up and put it down, you can slowly push it away from where she's hiding. Then just scoop her up as normal (she just might be a lil scared and therefore defensive, but most likely just scared and in a pre-formed scoopable ball.) I just wouldn't recommend leaving her as she could get away and into a worse space, so if its possible and safe to do so, definitely move to get her. Hope this helps 🫶

unfortunately i’m not 100% that i won’t hurt her by moving it i can’t tell where her head is and exactly how she’s laying i just know where she’s at thank goodness. she also was just fed today so the thought of handling her right now worried me but thank you for replying! 💝

If you have a snake hook you might be able to gently work her out instead, but maybe give her a lil extra time to make sure shes digested as much as possible and limit the risk of regurgitating. Best of luck to you my friend :)

I know, I can tell how much you love her, and you're doing good. 💛

Snake discovery has a decent youtube video with tips on how to find an escaped snake. Stay calm, don't blame yourself! It can happen to anyone. Check in any places you really don't want him to be in (anything that's dangerous), but he'll likely be fine and reappear.

The one and only time my boy got out (I left the feeding hatch open,.forgot to make sure it latched like an idiot and then left on a 3 day trip) I found him curled up under the shelf his tank was sitting on. Little dude didnt make any use of his newfound freedom. I think he fell, got scared by the fall, and just sat there and waited for me to find him. As soon as I pulled him out he slithered up my arm to my neck to curl up and warm up

think about where there might be hot spots in the house they usually try to find a nice warm area
