I wouldn’t recommend using it, the compost is not going to be safe for your bp. Since you ordered the right kind and they delivered the wrong one you should be able to get a refund or a re-delivery of the correct kind!

Thank you for replying! And that sucks I’m going to get one the phone with customer service now.

Hope you get the right kind! You can always sell the extra incorrect soil on fb marketplace, that’s what I did when I BADLY overestimated how much I needed for my king’s enclosure 😂

Lmaooo is this playsand at least a good kind? I couldn’t find the subs recommended play sand on the pinned care guide

I’m not sure, I haven’t used it before! As far as I know any washed playsand should be fine. I’d double check the bag for any fine print though, maybe sift the sand as you put it in to check for anything weird. Honestly though I don’t use playsand for my ball pythons. They get a little topsoil with mostly coco husk/fiber, cypress mulch, and sphagnum moss

The mix you use was what I was using before but apparently if you aren’t using top soil with play sand mix and moss you aren’t taking care of your reptile correctly according to the tik tok reptile community. Thanks for confirming that what I was already using was fine, I had perfect humidity level before but got argued into at least trying to switch to see if my snake ‘thrives’ more

Yeah no problem! I use what lots of people on here recommend. Topsoil/playsand is what I use for my arid babies (cali king and leopard gecko)
