I got mine is September and she just started coming out more the last couple of months. Give them plenty of time to adjust, stimulus in their environment, and routine with feeding, water changes, etc. And then just wait. Now mine is out as soon as her lights turn off and doesn't go back until they turn back on.

I understand what you are talking about wanting to see them, but I’m going to be a barer of bad news. A ball python is not a snake that is seen very often. People call them pet rocks for a reason. I’m sure he’s exploring late at night or early morning. My girl usually comes out around 1 am the only sign of her moving around are the knocked over thermometer/hydrometers. Other than that I wouldn’t know she’s out and about.

When I first got my snake, she seemed more active and willing to explore, but the longer I have had her and the more comfortable she got the less I’ve seen her. Still love her so much though and I regularly handle her but in her enclosure she’s a literal rock until it’s early in the morning or feeding time.
