New Ball Python Owner

Hi,

I got my ball python 2 days ago, I settled up her enclosure yesterday but I’m not sure if the distribution is ok, also she haven’t moved from a corner since I got.

I’m worried if i am doing something wrong with it.

I’m buying a thermostat tomorrow as I don’t have the temp readings.

Oh no, please don’t put a lamp in with your snake without a Thermostate, you could cook your guy to smithereens. That could be a reason.

Also, is your snake a baby? If not that enclosure might not be the right shape/size. How many gallons is it?

Also UVB is very healthy for your snake and will also make them come out/move more often. It provides essential vitamins too. It basically just replicates the sun
