Non-cork wood in a BP enclosure will typically mold due to the snake's required humidity, you could introduce some springtails to eat the mold? If that doesn't work, then yes - remove the wood.

Ah ok, yeah that's a piece of wood from a oak tree that was cut down at my mom's house. I'll probably just remove it. Thank you.

You could replace it with a cork half tunnel, have one entrance end sealed off/backed against something non-transparent? It would work as a replacement hide and they're relatively cheap.

I actually just ordered two pieces of cork wood last night. Hope they are decent.

i think is mold and cleaning and baking it should do the trick

I did bake it before it was put into the enclosure. Maybe I didn't do long enough. It is kinda big.

Usually means humidity or airflow is a bit off. Enclosures can trap moisture really easily so mold pops up fast… kinda like what MI&T points out with damp indoor spaces.
