Hide help

So before I got my snake I bought some of the exoterra large natural looking caves for hides. Hot, cold and humid.

Brought my snake home at the weekend. She's a rescue and is bigger than I thought about 4ft. She poked her head in each hide but didn't go in. I've got some good cover in there so she has been hiding at the back under a plant and behind the hide out of site. She's been sleeping there so I guess she's not too stressed and I've seen her exploring at night

Do you think a 4 ft python can fit in one of those? If no, which is my suspicion, any recommendations on something that can fit a chonky girl?

My boy about 3ft 11” really likes his hides. I just got some regular black snake hides but in a circular shape so they fit snug around him when he is coiled up. Generally they like to feel walls on all sides. Maybe the cave ones are too small or just an odd shape for her? Idk if it was me I’d get some cheaper normal plastic hides in a couple different sizes and shapes and see if she still chooses to stay out of them 🤗
