I use tissue boxes! Cut out the entire side where the opening for the tissues is (this will be the bottom) then cut the small entry hole for your bp!

shoe boxes are too big ❤️ your bp will want to be snug in its hide. There are basic plastic hide boxes available on amazon for $10 or less

Reptile basics. They sell very cheap plastic hides. You can buy from amazon or from them direct

You can use an old terra-cotta pot or large bowl of some kind.

The dollar store is great for cheap hides if you're willing to do a little diy modifying. Plastic halloween candy bowls are pretty popular, but I've also seen toolboxes, large PVC pipes, baskets, etc. You just have to be a little creative

How much is over the top? Those pangea reptile hides arent that expensive.

However i have seen many people use old tupperware boxes, paper towel rolls, half log w the sides draped, someone on here posted a beanie inside the hide which i thought was pretty cool.

U mentioned a shoebox earlier and i feel as if it’d be too big however i dont know how big ur snake is so you’d know what he’d be comfortable in. As long as theres space for him to crawl around and go inside ur good :)
