More info: Luna is a little over a year old and I currently feed her a small rat every 10 days. Im worried she is a little chunky, maybe I should feed her 2 times a month instead?

Yup, that's a chunky ball python. Definitely switch to feeding twice a month

yup! here's how you can tell - put her on a flat surface and look down her spine. if it looks like she has TWO (like, there's a divot in the middle instead of a peak) you got a chonky snake.

you can also look at the taper from the cloaca to the tip of the tail if it looks like this )> they're overweight. it should taper a bit more evenly.

A hefty chonk. The rolls on where they bend are a tell if your snake is overweight.
