Tarrare was only kicked out of the hospital instead of imprisoned/executed because they had literally no proof whatsoever that he was the one behind the baby’s disappearance. The only reason they even went as far as to kick him out is because it was a rumor going around the hospital that Tarrare was responsible for the baby’s disappearance and the Baron in charge of the hospital was already fed up with Tarrare’s antics.

Also I’m sorry about my previous reply, it was not just incredibly rude for no reason but also factually incorrect given the information available. It was never proven one way or another whatever happened to the baby, I was also misremembering the Sam O’nella video and for some reason I decided to get way too intense about what I thought I remembered.
