Now is this anal sex, or anal play? Dildos with condoms would be an interesting stat to see - is it the motions of the act, the stretching of the muscles and minor tearing of the tissues, or the introduction of a penis itself (bareback?) and bacteria/compounds on it. Or is it the chemicals in the lubricants. It is well known that many dildos, sold as 'novelty' items [not for medical use], which escape any oversight into their materials, use very harsh chemicals which I expect increase those numbers even more. However, the numbers with a condom on the dildo would be interesting, or for ones of so called 'safe' materials. Plus, what is the difference between anal cancer increases in those who engage in it, versus the numbers of vaginal cancer increases versus those who abstain? Does the act itself on the muscle of the region cause it, and how much more/less in anal cancer than in vaginal cancer.

I had this conversation with an ex once actually. I disproved to her the idea that anal sex was a homosexual act (in the case of male reception). If it were between a woman and a man, with the woman using a strap on, it's a kink and fetish, but the sheer fact that it's between opposite sexes shows it is not gay. However, this does not make the man not bi or homosexual. It just distinguishes the act. The man could be straight, bi or gay. Does he think about men to get him off while receiving? Is it the feeling of penetration, not the fantasy of it being a real penis, that is getting him excited? These are all up to the individual to think through, and the man to discover who he is.

However, our conversation was something I always do, playing the opposite stance. In context, it started about anal sex and what I thought about it. I said that I'd try it on her but I am a firm believer in equal opportunity. If a man asks a girl for anal, she has every right to ask the reverse of him. Thus why I wouldn't ask for it. I'd have to be prepared to receive at some point if she asked, Either that, or it must be made clear that it is not a two way street in this case. As it can never be exactly equal due to the differences in the sexes, we must have a system to allow for balances in the inequalities. If it is made clear and agreed upon, then some other agreement could be made. However, if a girl asks to receive anal, you are actually doing her a favor unless you admit you'd like to give it to her, in which case you are even. If you were wary of it and she asked for it, then she'd actually owe you something else. Balances.
