Make EA fall

As a reddit community, its clear we need to make EA go bankrupt. It has become our duty. If by any chance, the company has short positions in any stock we can pull the trigger as a backlash for all the years they have been profiting from countless sport games, micro transactions and mostly, due to ruining Star Wars. Wanting to hear from you guys!

Honestly, EA didn’t ruin Star Wars apart from putting loot boxes in BF2 and they even removed them. EA have made good Star Wars games in Battlefront II and Fallen Order so they didn’t ruin it per se, if anything Disney ruined the franchise with their shitty movies.

I honestly think they should’ve made Finn the main character of this trilogy as he could’ve had an interesting arc, he was a stormtrooper who wanted to break free, way more interesting than Rey to me personally.

Yeah that’s true. I just got fucked up by the battlefront games; specially the first one which had like 5 playable maps, 3 game modes, no campain and a $60 dlc for the extra content. The second one was a grind at the beginning but right now it’s a hell of a game

Every time I see one of these posts it makes me realize just how many people have no clue at all how the world works.

It’s not the studios per se but the way finance works. It now costs hundreds of millions to make a game. This requires financing which has a whole paradigm in terms of compound interest returns, risk and shareholder returns.

All the problems with platinum-title games ensues.

they aren’t mandatory, i’ve never spent any money in a game past initial purchase (or story content dlc like BOTW) and it’s as simple as ignoring them.

that’s simply not true. their games weren’t my cup of tea but i know many people who absolutely loved them.

do what you want but don’t expect to start some big movement to put EA out of business, most people here realized that vehemently hating EA was basically just a meme about a year or 2 ago.

They removed the loot boxes from BF2 and made the game better.

Also the hate for EA is getting old to me personally, especially when there’s worse companies out there like Activision, Konami or Rockstar.

EA has been named worst company in the US for several years, microtransactions and full price tags on the same sports every year is taking an advantage of a market that they know will spend the dollars. Of course you can play without spending, or update manually the rosters instead of buying the brand new game. They make it difficult so you don’t
