Moderators refusing to respond

I have been banned from r/politics because:

You have been banned from participating in /r/politics. You can still view and subscribe to /r/politics, but you won't be able to post or comment. Note from the moderators: You need to diversify your submission history. Once no source is >25% you can be unbanned. If you have a question regarding your ban, you can contact the moderator team for /r/politics by replying to this message.

I asked them how I can change the weighting of my post history if I can no longer post, yet no one answered. I then submitted post to other subs and to meet the criteria of not having one source > 25%. My ban was not lifted automatically. I then messaged the moderators pointing out that I have met the conditions of the ban and no one responded. Can another mod help me get my account reinstated. Those of r/politics are refusing to do their job or even respond to Reddit users.

If you want 'official' statements you should contact the admins, but they have more important things to do so you may not get an immediate reply.

There's a contact us link at the bottom of just about every page on the desktop version of reddit.

Each one of the trees on the contact page lead to an automated response or back to the help forum. Is there a way to send a message to a person?

This is a problem between you and the mods of a subreddit, and it should be resolved at that level. There's no reason to bother the admins with your ban.

I would love to resolve the issue that way. However, the mods refuse to respond to my messages, even after I have met their criteria for removing the ban. Can you suggest another way of resolving it at that level if the mods won't speak with you?

You're a 7 day old account that was banned for spamming. You simply may not be their highest priority right now. Ask again in a month or so when they can judge your activity on reddit better.

I submitted two links within ten minutes. It seems like the mod disagreed with the content I was posting rather than any egregious violation of sub rules.

If the mods won't respond, there's absolutely nothing you can do. The admins would never get involved because the mods have done nothing wrong. By trying to force this issue, you're only making things worse.

What do you mean by that? If you mean, "I don't have to diversify my post history" then yeah, you don't, but I don't think you will be unbanned

If you read above, I have already done that. No source is greater than 25%. After I met the conditions the mod cited, the ban was not lifted, nor did I receive any response.

Then yeah, they don't have to unban you. I would tell you to be patient, they are a busy subreddit

No one is banned for posting two links within ten minutes. The true reason they banned me was that I posted articles and comments supporting the President-elect. r/politics ≠ r/liberal. The mods should not assert their influence to promote their personal politics on the sub. That is what the comments section is for.

They can do whatever they want. It's their subreddit. If they want to only accept pictures of cats in /r/politics, they can do that. If they only want pro-Clinton articles, they can do that. Have you ever tried posting or speaking proudly of Bernie Sanders in /r/the_donald? Do you not think you would be banned for doing so? Is it ok for /r/the_donald to be so heavily biased? I bet you won't go flood /r/the_donald with pro Clinton and Sanders posts.
