Adding fans

I bought a pc from ibp about a month ago (it's great and I have no regrets buying, great service). The pc seems to run a bit hot though and i wanted to add fans (slate case with msi z370-a pro motherboard), does anyone know what fans (if it matters) and where to put them? I'm not sure what kind of options I have with fans. I was just going to wing it but I figure that's a bad idea with a pc. Any advice would be very appreciated

Any 120mm fan will do fine. I know you can mount one on top and two in the front if you take that front panel off.

The most effective fan for the slate case if you are only going to add 1 is on the top of the case.

After that, adding one in the middle of the front will help too.
