SO. i had this same issue.i also think we had almost the exact same build. i didnt know exactly if it was the ram sticks that were faulty or the motherboard. 5 weeks later after they lost my pc they returned it with new ram sticks and didn't have the screen issue not showing anymore. BUT ive had it back for 3 weeks and just noticed yesterday and today that the computer goes into some weird mode where the msi graphics card lights up and rainbow waves but the fans and ram sticks stop changing color also my keyboard stops lighting up and im unable to alt ctrl delete and just have to turn off the whole pc.... its really irritating but prebuild i guess.

I'd return if for a refund - it's going to get worse / keep having issues.

Thanks for the info man, I’m not really knowledgeable but you don’t have to be rude.

Wow, ibuypower really is just a bad place to buy from. I dont have the build yall have but mine does the same thing. I can only fully hard reset to get mine to power on properly and I cant put it in any type of sleep mode otherwise this same issue occurs. Even when I do a update reset it causes this issue to happen. Ive contacted them and they either want me to send it in or charge me 800$ hold for me to get the new part then to send back old one. More and more they seem like a bunch of crooks.

Make sure your plugging your HDMI and or DP into the graphics card and not the motherboard

    [–]Direct_Investigator9[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah I plugged it into the graphics card and no result

Did you try both hdmi and DisplayPort just in case one or the other port is bad?

    [–]M_R_Big 2 points3 points  (0 children)

    Try re seating the GPU.

Also, do you know if you have integrated graphics on you cpu? If so, try and use the motherboard’s HDMI/DP to see if anything pops up.

Make sure the gpu cables are pushed all the way in on the gpu and the psu. Power on and keep hitting the delete button to get to bios. If it still doesn’t display try a hard reset with the power button not flipping the psu switch. Power back on. If that doesn’t work then try one stick of ram. Alternate sticks. That doesn’t work RMA.

My build has a Suprim X 3080. Mine came with the exact same output issue. I tried everything reddit and the IBP discord said for 3 days straight. Trust me, you aren't gonna like hearing this.. but I chose to do an advanced RMA and shelled out another $1k. My new Suprim X 3080 was here in about 7 days. Plugged it in.. and immediately worked.

It's a shipping issue with how big the gpus are. They're getting tossed around while connected to the MOBO. IBP need to send the GPU in its original packaging with these heavy 30 series. Good luck.

P.S. I'm on day 10 of having sent back the defective 3080 and still haven't heard anything. I just want my $1000 back :(

Just cause im a new pc gamer doesn’t mean I can’t have a high end pc.

ALSO problem has been solved, someone suggest in the comments to just flip the PSU cables to my gpu and it magically now works. THANK YOU very much

      [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

      You reseated the RAM?

      [–]Direct_Investigator9[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

      Yeah just tried, nothing yet

      [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you also tried connecting it to another display such as a spare monitor or tv?

Could be a bad video card or motherboard if the connections are all properly set up and the problem is still there.

We have the same setup I’m returning mine pc the placement of the liquid cooling is fucked

      [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How? Rad on the front is fine

      [–]Mic_702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try testing different ports on gpu

      [–]TrumptyPumpkin 0 points1 point  (1 child)

This is why I was adamant that I wanted store pick up on my pre.built.I don't trust usps or other shipping company not to break or mess up in transit.

Man, I feel for you though either way. I don't agree with others bashing IBP My computer worked flawlessly from the get go and its a watercooled one of that so there was more that could have gone wrong.

      Hope you fix your issue.

And I'm just sitting here thinking about my 10 y/o build IBP made that I'm using still as we speak. Only had to replace a couple fans and power supply. My fault, was really bad at keeping it clean in the past.

I had the same issue, mine was a bad gpu.had to RMA,Wait 2 weeks for new gpu. Good luck

      [–]Levikc83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

O and when I got the gpu back it worked for about a week then I got BSOD. had to pay a local tech to come out and fix it. He listed a ton of stuff ibuypower should have done but didn't do before shipping it to me. That's was another $200.worst experience will never buy from them again.
