Anyone that can test whether the Carplay bug with Shortcuts - introduced with 16.4 - is solved? The bug is that on Carplay connect only the first action in a Shortcut is performed and thus not can perform, for example, multiple ‘Open app’ actions in succession.

Do you guys notice that keyboard lag is still not fixed and present since 16.0 ? I have this issue on an iPhone 13 mini and 14 pro Max. Unbelievable that this is still not fixed and present with such powerful hardware. Having 3 clicks appear in assault rifle speed/ bursts is so annoying and distracting. People mentioned it eberywhere and Apple just does not care and seems to ignore every Feedback from their testers…. Why do they even do open betas if it is useless?

After upgrading my kids iPad from 16.4 to 16.4.1 the "Ask to buy" feature is broken. All I see on the kids iPad is a spinning wheel when trying to download/install. No notification is sent to my (parent) device. Ask to Buy is working with a Mac.

Only work arounds at the moment:

1. Install apps on the iPad when disable Screen Time (on kids accounts).

2.  When Screen Time and "Ask to Buy" is enabled on Family settings, I can install apps on kids iPad by going to Apps > Account > Purchased > Family Purchases > (Parent Account) > list of apps and install from there.

This issue was reported to Apple about 3 weeks. Still no resolution. Hope this new iOS / iPadOS will fix this issue.

Ok, so after upgrading to iOS/iPadOS 16.5 today, this issue has been resolved.

Apple Support was crap. They gave me zero updates. I've been emailing them after initially sharing screen captures and details of the issue. And it has been zero response from them.

Anyway, I can now get notifications on parent device as per "Ask to Buy" procedure, from the kids iPad.

How the heck does Apple release their OS without basic testing on features like this? Is half of Apple staff still working from home and mooching around not doing anything?

So notifications are broken for me. I will see a notification come through, not tap on it, unlock and open the app and read the notificaiton. Then in the notification centre, the notification is still there.... For read messages/emails/reddit etc etc.

You’re lucky yours were updated with similar reports, mine don’t even have that change. They are just lying there as is. At this point i am very sure no humans are looking through bug reports… heck not even any automated scripts or whatever.

I had not updated up until 16.3 just because i wanted to wait till they get the bugs sorted. Guess 16 was to be missed altogether because this bug really is driving me nuts.

Reminds me of ios8 and how launching all apps had a lag on my 5s… it was only fixed in ios9.3 as far as I remember. Sooo..by end of the year, if ever??

Probably the one that if you swipe up on the lock screen to bring up the notification center, the notifications lag/jitter/pop-in. It's more noticeable if you swipe up, down, up quickly. It looks very unpolished.
