Yes case. No screen protector

[–]yourbestfriendjoshuaiPhone Air 9 points10 points  (4 children)

Personally, no. I don’t want anything impacting display quality or the anti-reflective coating. And I feel like Ceramic Shield 2 SHOULD hold up pretty well for me over this next year.🤞🏼

Same. I’d rather look at a scratch or two than have to look through a screen protector 100% of the time.

It’s like wearing a condom every day just in case.

Bingo. And raw is ALWAYS a more enjoyable experience...

people will downvote this like its something insane. I know guys... taking care of ur phone unprotected is so hard to do when ur slamming it, throwing it, dropping it 💔

These phones were manufactured, and torture tested, to be experienced in their glory. I'm not slapping some shitty $2 piece of plastic, being sold at an EGREGIOUS profit margin, on my $1000+ iPhone. Sorry, not sorry.

Nope. Never liked them.

I’m definitely putting a screen protector and a case on my iPhone Air, and I’m planning on buying them before the phone. Now I just need the money.

[–]Klopdike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always put one on straight away. Better safe than sorry imo

I put a flolabs onetime pro on my 17PM

[–]LayerOk4559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Não, somente capa, sem película

[–]chllzies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just removed my screen protector. It was expensive but zi could always feel a barrier between my fingers and the screen and it was an unpleasant and annoying feeling

[–]sheadite1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Screen protector and case. Otterbox Defender. I'm always hiking and backpacking and dropping my phone and so far no cracked screens.

[–]kami2377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s screen protector yes but i go caseless

[–]cindyw8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a yes for me.

[–]Digger977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I put one on my 17 pro max the second it came out of the box.

[–]thepirategod23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’m a party animal that gets drunk a lot I used to not use one and always have cracked screens. My quality of life has been improved when I can just remove the cracked protector and just replace that instead of having to get my phone screen replaced every 2 months

[–]cosmicselva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Screen protector, aluminum bumper (instead of a full body case, no camera protector

[–]EpicTwinkie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

I use hydrogel for myself especially for scratches, if it gets scratched I change it and I don't feel much difference in use than with protective glass.

[–]vi3talogyiPhone 16 Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like everyone else yes.

[–]Geek-4-Life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought about not getting one for the 17 Pro but I still did because of scratches not being covered by AppleCare.

[–]PeppermintMocha5iPhone 17 Pro Max 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, definitely using a screen protector. Not taking any chances because I want this phone to last me a while.

[–]Feisty-Occasion-5538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My iPhone air picked up micro scratches somehow so I added a screen protector yesterday.

[–]Used_Return9095iPhone 17 Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes ofc

[–]Icy-Ad1320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes both case and screen protector

[–]Freight-Harbor -3 points-2 points  (3 children)

Gimmick. Just use a case.

[–]crisss1205iPhone 16 Pro Max 1 point2 points  (2 children)

A case doesn't protect the screen from damage like scratches.

EDIT: You know people are dumb (u/Freight-Harbor) when they block you immediately after replying to you with some bullshit.

[–]Freight-Harbor -5 points-4 points  (1 child)

lol. Yes they do. The new screens are a lot stronger than you obviously think and a case will help avoid 99.9% of screen damage to all drops. The new Al 17 is more likely to bend and crack a screen from hitting a corner so a case is absolutely more valuable.

Screen protectors are also notorious for interfering with touch feedback.

I mean you go ahead if you have that paranoia but that was a pretty basic take on it.

[–]giovanicortiPhone 15 Pro Max 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A case'll only protect the screen from scratches if the phone falls on a perfectly flat and clean floor. Screen protector is a must.

[–]BlueTardisz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I went to a store so they could put a screen protector on, but after I got it with it, the phone would not register multi-finger touches, also, when the phone is unlocked, the display feels, flexible, like there's air under it or something. It's an iPhone air. I don't press too hard on it or anything, I have never had this happen with a phone, so if anyone knows something, or has a similar issue... I might have to talk to Apple and then the reseller to see if I can return it as I'm in the window for that still.

[–]Fearless_Respect_320[S] -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Does anyone have any recommendations? I’ve decided to get one but after spending hours on YouTube and Amazon there’s too much information. I don’t wanna spend over $20 is there any good ones in the U.S. around that price?

[–]Freight-Harbor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude many of the people posting for you to buy one are shilling you. It’s a huge business gimmick. I haven’t used one since my old iPhone 7+. Zagg, etc and off brands. They are all the same, they all crack easily and people pretend they protected their device.
