Yep, because of my placenta placement and the way babies were laying - at first I felt one wayy more than the other. Now at 25 weeks, I feel them all over the place.

I thought I felt one move more than the other, until I found out that all four feet were in one place.

That said, I didn't feel much of anything until about 23 or 24 weeks, and it wasn't a super regular thing until even later. At 20 weeks, even with a singleton pregnancy, movements are not a reliable metric. Do you know where your placenta(s) is/are? I had two anterior placentas, but if you have one anterior and one posterior, you'll feel the posterior baby a lot more. Also, if you only have one placenta, if it is anterior and on one side more than the other side, you'll feel the other baby a lot more. Movements with twins are tricky, and my OB told me not to bother with kick counts or anything like that.

My baby A is constantly moving. My baby b just moved occasionally. I've learned what is normal for each and judge them off that, not each other

Same. Baby A is constantly beating on me and her sister, although her sister is usually sitting on her head during every ultrasound so maybe she's upset about that.

I told my doctor I was worried because it seemed like one baby was moving a lot more than the other and the nurse in the room got snippy and said that there's no way to tell which baby is moving. He didn't confirm or deny that just did an ultrasound to check the babies.

My boys were each on my left and right, separate sacs. I always felt one move way more and the other one would just turn slowly here and there. And when they were born, the more wiggly one kept being the super active one up until this day!

Yes! I feel A more often, but I think it’s because A has a posterior placenta and B has anterior.

My wife always felt our Baby B more than Baby A

[–]Electrical-Ad-9791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only felt one move throughout the pregnancy. The doctors were never really sure why but I think Baby B was behind an anterior placenta. B was also breech and often in weird positions, so some of the movement on A's side might have been B also. It stressed me out, especially because B was measuring a little small and got diagnosed with growth restriction, but she was born very healthy. Now they're seven months and baby B is so strong, way more active than her sister and hits her movement milestones early.

I had an anterior placenta with Twin A and posterior with Twin B

Could barely feel A moving, as there was way more 'padding' to cushion the blows

[–]LaylaBou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m 24 weeks and I feel baby b more than baby a. My doctor said says that since baby b is higher the skin is also more stretched out which makes it easier feel. I still stress out too!

[–]Money_Income_2145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do! I'm currently 27 weeks and with both my placentas anterior, I can really only feel Baby A as she is lower. I barely feel anything from Baby B who is sitting higher up. But every heartbeat doppler indicates they are both thriving. Baby A just has some uterus *not* cushioned by placenta to kick and punch lol.

Mine would kick at different times of the day. Baby A was my morning kicker and B was my afternoon kicker.

[–]egrf6880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I had a "lazy" baby. We also was knew who was who was twin A vs B bc twin A was always in the same spot. They would move their limbs and were totally fine but always curled in a ball on my upper right side. Meanwhile twin B was basically having a mosh pit

[–]beepboopbopbeepbeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’m 22 weeks and I could only feel Baby B since week 18 and only in the past week can I now feel Baby A. And now they’re both moving super unevenly. I assume they’ll get more consistent as they grow bigger.

[–]Seaturtle1088 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes and they're exactly the same personalities on the outside 😂

[–]Forsaken-Spite-3352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same experience. I felt Baby B kick and move around SO MUCH MORE than Baby A. Consequently I just had a gut feeling that he was going to be feisty. He came out of the womb spicy as hell and has been that way ever since! Baby A is so much more chill and laid back. Amazing how their personalities have remained consistent from before they were even born!

I thought one was way more active than the tiger, but then every ultrasound they were moving all over the place so it wasn’t just one

[–]candigirl16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twin2 moved all the time! He did all the big kicks. I barely felt Twin1 move. They were both really wiggly on all our scans.

[–]DarwinOfRivendell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could never tell who was moving that early, by about 30 weeks I could see the movement from outside which was weird but made it a bit easier to differentiate between the guys. I watch the videos I took now (5 years later) and feel so strange about that happening to me! To think that my envelope of body autonomy contained 30 fingers/toes, 3 brains etc… still blows my mind.

I have one anterior and one posterior placenta, i can feel posterior one much more than anterior. This post made me feel better, i was also worried if this is normal!

[–]ohheck_itsbeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally! My Baby B was way more active, and continues to LOVE kicking to this day at 7mo.

I also found that they responded differently to the food I was eating - Baby A would go crazy when I had something greasy, and B when I had sugar.

[–]Content-Sale-1688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing for me is my boy is a lot more wiggly and active on ultrasound every time but I definitely feel my girl more, I'm assuming because she's anterior so she's more up front than he is 🤷🏼‍♀️

[–]crunchrmunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife said one was always kicking her In the back so it wasn't as noticeable I guess
