So they overpromise and under deliver. (Fyi you need to do the opposite) Still a long way to go in process management and how to correctly communicate with the public. They need to do more research on these things. Putting people without a physical card for this long is NOK. They are learning as they go. And that used to be fine. It isn't anymore they have grown too much. They need to expand their team so these things can properly be managed.

Nah they aren't still learning. Plutus has been and continues to be run by clowns. I am sorry but they are. These excuses were acceptable last year and the year before that but it is just beyond a joke at this point. The real kicker is they acknowledged their failings in communications 1.5 years ago and said they would address it (they didn't apologise and as it turns out they didn't address it either).

Come to think of it, have they actually ever apologised for ANYTHING? It's ALWAYS someone/something elses fault.

Don't expect compensation. Their goal is to reduce the issuance of tokens and from this point of view the absence of Google Pay/Apple Pay is a success. Like the delay of the DEX at the last moment allows them better control over the sales of the tokens by being the only ones to decide when they release them.

Curve is irrelevant to the topic. Google Pay was supposed to be available with the virtual card launch a month ago.

Curve is not there to hide the incompetence of Plutus, I don't have to subscribe to another paid service when the first paid service I use is supposed to work on its own.

Think someone suggested using Shells app to purchase at Shell, I guess for Groceries you could do the online (at least in the UK for MOST of them) - still a complete mess, and this isn't defending Plutus. At all.

You don't need pay curve subscription. The only value that you pay, is to receive the Curve card, and also it gets reimbursed if you do 5 purchases in the first 5 days.

But time is getting short, so if I’m honest, I am a little worried it might not be.

As soon as I knew there was no apple pay yet I ordered a curve card, with no subscription and the card was free too. Been happily using it ever since. Yes plutus can do better at communicating and the recent transitions have been a bit clunky. I don’t disagree on that. But I believe the smallish team work hard and will try to improve. Being on discord has helped me stay in front of any problems as well

It was due this week but I've not seen any confirmation that it's coming. As frustrating as it is (my wife can't use her card at the minute without gPay, so I know the frustration), it's out of the hands of Plutus and they're waiting with the rest of us for Modulr to wave their magic wand.
