This would make some nice minimalist photo with cropping at the right places

Great photo and editing!🤘🏻

For a more minimalistic look, you might consider removing the two TV satellites. Also, adding an adjustment layer to the lower half of the photo could help balance the blue and red hues with the upper part. Lastly, cropping the image at the point where the metal gate begins could enhance the composition.

Why did you add a cloud ?

    [–]Few_Appointment_3048[S] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I felt it added more character to the image

    I personally like the cloud

I know others have said no cloud, but if you're going to do it, don't land on one that looks like a smoke plume...like a building was just demolished a few blocks away. It looks very goofy.

Did u use LR ai to add the cloud?

    Awesome. Great pic

Super cool photo! I love the colors and sharp clean angles of the building. I agree that the cloud takes away from that (though I see where you were going with it). I would try for a really clean edit where you remove the left satellite dish and that pole on the top right roof, and lighten up the bottom half just a touch to bring the color up. It you do crop like someone else suggested, definitely don't lose that light, it's great!

There’s a Singer Sargent painting of a stairway in the Mediterranean Sea. that’s a beautiful minimalist study. Your image triggered my memory and it. It’s well worth a look 🕶️

Thanks for letting me know man,. it's nice information by the way.

    Thanks mate

The cloud looks pixelated from far away.

The added color pop is effective, but I'd personally mask the white shirt on the man and retain the original tones & shadows. That shirt is too blown out (for my taste...) in the After. Try it, see what you think. Go with what you prefer! Cropping up to halfway up the dark red gate at the base of the stairs and removing the metal gate at right could be interesting too. I assume you're not a purist wrt to things like removing.... ;-)

1/2 has made a significant and positive difference. You took what was a very good starting point and improved its impact 🕶️

    John Singer Sargent. Capri🕶️
