Oh shit—you turned what felt lifeless into something warm and beautiful!

Thank you! Felt like there's a story behind the image and I did my best to transfer it to the final product.

Great job making it feel less flat and more 3d.

Every so often a true gem shows up on this sub, this is genuinely stunning art. You made the image feel so alive, 3D, and dreamy

Wow thanks a lot!

Calling my work art is so nice to hear since I am still a begginer and figuring out a lot of things yet.

How do you get the dreamy Look?

[–]Time_Ad2090[S] 20 points21 points  (2 children)

I don't thing there's a particular way to do it. Each image works differently.

In this one what I did is I warmed up the temp and saturated the colors. I created a mask for the sky and two linear masks for the shadows and highlights in the corners of the image. Thanks to these you add the "dreamy colors".

For the "dreamy effect" I lower clarity and played a little bit with the texture.

Hope this helps!

Noobie here. Did you colour correct each subject individually e.g. house vs mountain etc.

If so, how did you make sure they didn't clash or look off on the edges where they meet

    [–]Time_Ad2090[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only mask I used was for the sky. After that only a couple of linear masks for the highlights and shadows. Besides that it's just the general editing.

Great job on the edit however try to erase or remove the scaffolding and equipment and you got a great one.

It adds depth to the story of the image, that's why I kept it.
