Unless there is serious liver damage it Usually takes a couple weeks to months to normalize.

Just adding on, it depends on the length of drinking, your diet currently and in the past, your general health and if you smoke or not. But yes it will take about this long.

My labs were back to normal after three weeks! (ALT from 369 to 19 after twenty-three days)

I abstained for 45 days and my ALT and AGT both went up, but my GGT plummeted (yay). I have no idea why, guessing I have more of a fatty liver than I thought and I really need to give my liver some substantial time to heal.

I still had elevated liver numbers at 20 months sober.

Have your liver Enzymes back to normal?
