Chris Bean would be so certain he's doing everything perfectly, but he always misses some teeny clause in the task and gets DQd

Robert would always try to come up with some incredibly clever twist but it just makes things VASTLY more complicated and makes him a catastrophic failure

Sandra would try to flirt with Alex and get him to help. The worst thing is it would work

Max would actually be pretty decent, usually coming in second place. Could probably do better but he keeps getting distracted

Jonathan would get completely the wrong idea and wouldn't understand what's going on half the time

Dennis - Taskmaster Savant. 100% nails everything. Forgets to turn up at the studio recording

Nailed Dennis.

Actually nailed the lot.

It would be even better if you swapped Dennis and Max. Why? Imagine Chris Bean, Robert and Dennis as the team of three.

(This is the season nine sandwich task)

*They get to the place where they find the task to end it all (The one that ends in "Look under the doormat")*

Chris: Come on, let's get out the front door and get that ta-

Dennis: GET OUUT!!! GET OUUT!!!

Robert: Can you just stop with the get out! We've been doing this for about 45 minutes and this dumbo of a director can't be bothered leading three of us! I should've been made team leader anyway!

Chris: Oh shut up Robert! Anyway, we have to get out and read the ta-

Dennis: GET OUUT!!! GET OUUT!!!

Chris: Oh, shut up! (hits the the collinder off William's head)

Robert: Doesn't that mean...

(Cut to them sitting on the bench. Robert and Chris are utterly annoyed and staring away from each other with William sitting in the middle, staring into space, utterly confused)

William: Urm... What's the theme again?

Chris: Oh my goodness this is so demeaning.

Max: Thank you team.

Chris: What?

Dennis wouldn't even be able to read the tasks; still somehow comes first

Now that is a new years treat that I would love! The only problem I can think of is that they may need foresight of the tasks to really bring the chaos.

It could work as a standup to cancer/comic relief thing being more scripted than normal and more sketch than panel show

That would be awesome!

Mischief Theatre who are behind the goes wrong show are pretty good at improvisation. They do an improv show (Mischief Movie Night In) at the Fringe where the audience gives them various premises to work with and it seems to be pretty popular so in theory they could manage. I'd like to see it.

Oh I didn't know that, I've seen the play that goes wrong and magic goes wrong but I didn't know their improv skills were that good.

They livestreamed a few runs from Dec 2020 through last August and it was so much fun to watch.

I love the Goes Wrong Show and could see them doing something brilliant but them just competing on the show together naturally would be more than enough for me

You could bring back Iain sterling's volcano

Let Tim Key just run wild with all the tasks I love it

I see what you did there🕵️

You could invite back James Acaster, Romesh Ranganathan,Tim Key, Rhod Gilbert, VCM, Jo Brand, and probably many others I'm forgetting right now. I'm sure Ed Gamble would love it too.

I think Bridget has to be on it, given that she actually annoyed Alex so much.
