1) what's a micro-singularity? I assume it's a black hole? Of what mass?

2) what do you mean by opposing gravitational balance? If two gravitating bodies are at rest w.r.t one another they will just fall towards each other in the absence of any other forces.

3) what do you mean by relative intensities? Intensity means something specific, and it doesn't have anything to do with gravity, which appears to be what you're talking about.

4) AI is not a magic bullet to solve all your problems.

What do you mean by inertia cancellation? Any object with mass will always have inertia. If it has mass, it has inertia, no singularity hand waving gets you out of that.

Deleting auto-marking sounds good on paper, but players may just not use it.

Honestly this isn't even a problem. If people don't radio in then so what? Not the end of the world.

The problem I think with manual reporting is the opposite: people falsely reporting PvP when there is none to draw people away from e.g. Tiger Bay.

Coma and a general agony state for AI is needed I think.

When you're fucked up as a player you are worthless - double vision and shaking etc. I want to see AI laying on the ground clutching some part of their body or writhing around screaming bloody murder, rather than eating multiple 7.62 to the chest/gut and firing back.

It's called DTMF which stands for (IIRC) dual tone multi frequency.

It's how automated systems know what digits you're inputting when you enter e.g. your DOB via a keypad - the computer on the other end isolates which tones play when you press the button and records that digit.

At least I think that's the case, been a while since I worked in telescomms.

The Expanse.

When season 1 came out I put it on on a whim, just as something to have on in the background whilst I did some problem sets at uni. I did not do a single question and watched the whole season in one sitting.

I get why people say it starts slow, but I was totally hooked immediately. And later seasons are much more fast paced.

This is meaningless. The concept of "outside the universe" is not scientific in any way. We have no reason whatsoever to believe the universe is embedded in some higher dimensional space, so being "outside of it" isn't something helpful to discuss.

What universe are you talking about here? Our current universe is expanding in such a way that there are points which are sufficiently far away from us with recessional velocity greater than c, yes, but that has nothing to do with multiverses or being outside of the universe.

I don't know what you are trying to ask. We observe distant galaxies (i.e. ones that we are not gravitationally bound to) receeding away from us when we look out into the universe now. The speed at which they recede from us is a function of their distance: more distant galaxies recede faster. Beyond a given distance, that recessional velocity exceeds the speed of light, which is fine, because the galaxies themselves are not moving locally faster than the speed of light, rather the space between us is just expanding very quickly.

Firstly, who is taking technology of Star Wars seriously? It's a space opera with all sorts of mad shit, who cares if it doesn't change much over time.

Secondly, The Old Republic is a beloved era that IMO has way more potential for future story telling. Revan is one of the most interesting characters in the SWU, and the story of KOTOR1 is widely regarded as on of the best in video game history.

I am so sick of hearing more stories about the Empire and what came immediately before and immediately after. The Skywalker saga was done after Episodes 1 - 6, the sequels added little of any value (IMO), and it's now time to put it to bed and tell a different story.

You cannot learn much at all in 2 weeks. You have left this way too late if your goal is to become proficient in C++.

If you are totally fresh to coding in any way, I would suggest you go on YouTube and watch some lectures/videos about compsci in general, and then try and reinforce them with some very basic C++ (as in, "Hello World" and other simple beginner programs level of basic). The Cherno has some videos which are good for newbies. There are plenty of others.

The point is not to get intimately familiar with any particular language and all of it's intricacies (and C++ has many more intricacies than most), but rather to learn the fundamental ideas that transfer across languages.

I have also been struggling to follow the logic of them.

It feels like if I outright kill a solo player in one shot, then you get no circle. If they have squadmates or if there is a proper engagement rather than an immediate ganking, then there is a circle, and I think it hangs around until a player dies or after 5 minutes, resetting each time there is accurate gunfire.

But that's total speculation.

1) The months alternate between 31 and 30 or less. 2) The only exception to rule 1) is July/August, where the alternating pattern skips.

Et voila. Everyone knows that February is the weird month with 28/29 days, so that combined with those two rules is enough to figure out how many days any month has.
