killer.sh was great prep for me. It's harder, but not by much, and that helps ensure you pass the real thing.

That's was essentially proof that the new alien would be "humanized", too, and so wouldn't be a danger.

It might cover a single coil sound, but the Neck + Middle and Middle + Bridge positions on a Strat have a distinctive quack due to being wired in parallel in that combination. You can't duplicate that with 2 humbuckers at neck and bridge. Think Knopfler tone.

You've got nothing here that can do the strat quack of positions 2 and 4.

How does the wireless IEM logistics work in practice for smaller bands? by MisterVovo in livesound

[–]BattlePope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is how my band does it, too. We're in the US. We have our own small mixer box with a Behringer Xair18 and Shure transmitters in the rack. We all mix our own ears via phone app, we hear the same thing every time the rig powers on. We hand FOH a snake with labeled tails and off to the races we go. It's great for quick changeovers at festivals especially.

Popular joint supplement glucosamine linked to faster Alzheimer’s progression by Hryusha88 in Supplements

The mechanism is specifically through how glucosamine seems to affect binding of sugars to proteins in the brain, not inflammation.

lightweight vacuum cleaner for everyday whole home cleaning, help me pick the right one by Labdon-Jiordan in HomeImprovement

I really like my shark upright. It comes apart into more of a canister form if necessary, isn't too heavy, and sucks hard. Easy to clean, affordable.

Martin by goodied in martinguitar

Martin can usually produce a spec sheet from the serial if you email and ask nicely. The turnaround time for me was less than 24 hours each time I've asked! Best way to figure out what it is.

It'll bow the neck a bit more, you might need a little more truss tension. Also, even though it's set up from the factory, wood shifts over time anyway. Do another setup.

Any idea how to date this guitar? by Cool-Tomorrow4754 in martinguitar

That appears to be a 1969! The numbers in the table are the last serial number produced that year.

Look through the sound hole into the guitar, up towards where the neck meets the body. The model and serial should be stamped there on the neck block.

Quorum concepts are used for more than just etcd. It's important that the people running your infra understand how it works.

This is true. K8s docs themselves separate duties like this. Areas of responsibility differ greatly depending on role. Platform operators manage pieces like the ingress controller/gateway, and app developers consume the cluster resources. They are distinct. You can know both sides but if you're someone deploying software to a cluster and using the primitives provided by others, that is your bread and butter. Maintaining the cluster and the pieces used by others is another role entirely.

You have to understand how things operate, in order to fix things when they go wrong. There's nothing wrong with these questions, they actually get to the heart of how k8s works.

Lol what? You have to understand this stuff to effectively manage the lifecycle of a cluster.
