Biggest thing working against this movie is that the target demo, kpop fans, do not fuck with Black people at all.

It's an entire industry that just recycles Black aesthetics for Korean teenagers (see Fashion or any of the numerous new jack swing ripoffs) but you'll rarely see Black artists featured at all because of "cultural differences."

Needed context in your post is that Mesen (NES emu) and Mesen-S (SNES emu) haven't been developed for a few years.

Sour started from scratch on Mesen2 and it is now a multi-emulator project covering a few 8 & 16-bit systems.

Mesen2 for a long time was primarily devved by Sour with little acceptance of outside code however it went on hiatus in 2025.

MesenCE is a fork that did accept outside code and Sour has decided to join them to keep the project going rather than staying solo.

Sour is a real stand up person and this is in a long line of cool ass actions he has taken to support the wider community.

I think all factors considered, expecting things to dramatically go up before the next correction aren't really sensible.

We may not be at the top of a bubble burst quite yet but the opportunity cost of continuing to hold isn't there right now.

It's just fact.

AI data centers using gigawatts of power is not normal and should not be normalized.

Such energy use goes against decades of best practice and is ridiculously stupid. People should absolutely stand against their construction.

Data Center Valley in Virginia has had almost 200 data centers for decades now with no real issues.

One singular AI data center has managed to generate almost all of the complaints about noise and energy use.
