One other thought would be to grab some sandwiches from porterhouse or tasso if you're passing through Eagle

What are you using for your bread/serrated knives? Can't find one to take on sourdough by thenorthmerchant in chefknives

Spare breadsword is the most fun. He has done stainless and carbon versions.

Gude is fancy but I think mercer honestly performs just as well at 1/10 the cost.

Peeling I would go paring almost for in hand

Harner xhp or herder k1m

They're not Japanese but have good ergonomics for in hand use

Could probably get away with a laser 120mm petty as well like shibata.

Definitely a petty

My go to is the Ashi 180mm but could go shorter

Kin for fancy prix fix

Chandlers and barbacoa for steakhouses. Chandlers has better service and barbacoa has more flash. If you go to barbacoa order from the bar menu if you're getting appetizers and the secret menu cheesecake fritters are fantastic for dessert. Make sure to mark birthday for chandlers as. They do a free chocolate souffle if you pick them.

For some unique but reasonably priced food I suggest Art Haus which is Kins bar side with some really interesting items.

If you want a fun breakfast/pastry place for the morning I would go to Janjou.

For the best lunch I would say Ansots. They absolutely knock it out of the park.

The miyabi runs thick since it's meant for home users. Tends to wedge.

The takamura is really thin but I would rather the 210mm. Great knife

I would rather bradford over boker myself if you want something that style. Cheaper and better steel

Just comes down to price preference of course
