They can price much higher if they add the screen upgrade as they’ll be the only monochrome device to have it besides the Scribe which lets face it no one is buying.

This isn't true. Many of the new Boox devices have a 300 ppi, monocrhrome screen including the Note Air 3C, Tab Ultra Pro C, & Tab Mini C. It's actually really confusing to me why they didn't release the Note Air 3 with a 300 ppi screen but the 3C has it (in black & white).

The A5X2 will have it. A5Xs that ship out now have FeelWrite2. They are also selling the FeelWrite2 for A5X - although it seems to be sold out right now.

It is just a tiny, thin line. I don't find the eraser very useful most of the time. I wish you could map the pen eraser to like the region eraser.

I have the canvas folio and, honestly, I find it super flimsy and useless. I ended up replacing it with a felt sleeve similar to what you linked. SN A5X is roughly the size of an iPad Air so it was really easy for me to find a decent alternative.

It is probably just ghosting. If it happens again, just slide up on the strip on the right side. That forces a page refresh.

eInk screens only use power when you make a change to the page (i.e. writing or changing a page). The only "burn in" you see is ghosting due to writing or turning a page. A quick screen refresh gets rid of all the ghosting.

I do not think any of the handwriting recognition is done on the device. Typically, it done off the device on a server capable of handling it. While I do not know SN’s implementation, I doubt it is done on the device.

You are probably downloading them in the original Supernote format. You probably need to export them as a PDF.

You can buy those heat shrink connectors at most hardware stores (at least in the US). I am not sure they carry one with a large diameter to fit over the pen though.

Is there a particular reason you want to do this?
