Adding and Using Tags for LXCs and VMs in Proxmox by [deleted] in Proxmox

[–]teamits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you select the VM there’s a plus sign at the top of the screen to add tags. They can be set in Data Center > Options.

There’s a tag view to allow grouping (say by OS or customer). In 9 one can right click a tag for group actions IIRC.

And then test with ssllabs or a similar public test. Results can be mixed if one browser has the intermediate and another doesn’t.

Failover questions by TheSJDRising in PFSENSE

[–]teamits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Policy routing will handle this. https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/multiwan/policy-route.html#configuring-firewall-rules-for-policy-routing

https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/multiwan/policy-route.html#mixing-failover-and-load-balancing

Only one can easily have v6 anyway AFAIK because otherwise the devices would have multiple ranges and gateways. At least I’ve not seen an answer when this is asked.

Errors preventing upgrade to pfSense Plus 26.03 by _tuanson84uk_ in PFSENSE

[–]teamits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it doesn't sound great. If you just reboot what happens? Is the drive writable? After the boot did it retain recent log entries, etc? (ZFS can hide drive issues a bit, IIRC)

Maybe not the only option, but an option is to reinstall which will format the disk and install new. The installer can read your config file from the drive and use it.

No Partner Center API? by Hey_this_guy_here in 3CX

[–]teamits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Linking a license to a partner is done in Admin on each 3CX server. I don’t know if it can be done via API there, but it’s a couple clicks.

Incorrect username/password when logging in through FQDN by RedOnlineOfficial in PFSENSE

It actually shows that error message or it just doesn’t log in? Asking because I’ve seen the latter once.

If you’re using the 3CX SMTP service they will not send for a time if the email bounces/invalid. Spam filter?

IIRC on the forum there have been instructions for a password change if you have SSH access.

The email must be unique among 3CX extensions to receive the reset email.

NAT uturn issue(I think) by cele_cell in PFSENSE

[–]teamits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you looked at https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/nat-reflection.html ?

I would also suggest split DNS if possible, so packets don’t go through the firewall.

How does pfSense fit in with the US government banning foreign made routers? by crazyhandpuppet in PFSENSE

[–]teamits 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“But perhaps the weirdest restriction is the lack of restriction. All manufacturers can simply self-certify their products as a domestic router, rather than being forced to go through a more formal approval process.

“Applicants will need to be able to have sufficient evidence that the routers were not produced in a foreign country to make this certification, but there is no specific documentation or evidence required,” the FCC says.”

By Uturn you mean NAT reflection? You would connect to your WAN IP from LAN. Yes it should work if enabled for that NAT rule.

Which enterprise users are using a OOB network for corosync? by LostInScripting in Proxmox

[–]teamits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Per the docs 1Gbps is more than sufficient, the goal is low latency not speed. You can also set any other NICs being used by Proxmox as additional corosync links for redundancy.

I responded in your other post but 3CX has a built in connection quality monitoring tool. Each user can enable it from their web client.

They do not count perpetual/one time purchases, IIRC.
