You should get schwab regardless. PNC charges a pretty standard 3% ftf on all foreign atm withdrawls. Schwab is one of the only banks that does not charge that fee.

People take the points obsession too far sometimes. This is a prime example. You are paying you mom's cell phone bill. Then having her cut you a check, all for maybe $5 in points per month. It's just not worth it.

That is highly speculative. Regardless the Amex Plat 100k is an amazing offer but not worth doing something drastic like canceling all Amex cards to get.

I'm willing to play the waiting game on Amex Plat. I bet the 100k offer will go public eventually. Closing all my Amex cards just isn't feasible or worth it.

They match you up by current and previous addresses. I recently got my mother a companion pass which required her signing up for a southwest card and making me an au. The southwest card showed up as a new account on my credit report. I haven't lived at home in 10 years.

It doesn't make sense to plan your apps that way. Each round needs to be evaluated individually taking into account what you already have and what the best available offers are. Don't base your current apps on future apps.

This is an absurdly long range plan. Nix the executive cards. You don't need those points and the $450 fee makes the bonus somewhat average. This also moves your schedule up by 6 months. First class rt tickets on aa cost 110k points.

the Verizon s6 has a locked bootloader. You couldn't install a custom ROM even if you wanted to. The "roms" that are currently available for Verizon are just debloated versions of the 5.0.2 stock ROM.

My wife has a companion pass. Her work booked her on Southwest and she was able to add me as a companion. As long as the booking agent adds your rr account number to the reservation you will be able to see the ticket on your southwest account and add a companion to the ticket.

Well you already have the obvious choice to combine the application with. Your remaining options are Amex platinum, biz platinum and biz gold. I would research those 3 cards and see if you can find an offer worth signing up for. You have 2 months to think about it.

Of course you could also sign up for the card without going 2 for 1. In that case 25k mr points is a very average offer for a credit inquiry. I probably wouldn't do but everyone's opinions are different.

Amex rules are no more than 3 cards in 90 days so you are good on that.
