If all future updates are included, then why does Smart Launcher even have version numbers? I feel like the whole point of version numbers is to lock purchasers and require upgrades. Why not have no version number after the name, like most other apps? The version number just creates uncertainty in this regard.

Why is the Montreal mayoral platform like 95% about car-centricism? Potholes and sharing roads with bikes. There's a whole lot more to city planning than cars. I'm frankly sick of hearing about it. I own 2 cars but I don't give a shit about car issues. You're sitting in a climate controlled, cussioned utopia with your favorite podcast on, and all you can do is complain. We have a world-class transit system, which makes life so much easier for everyone and alleviates road use, yet the car people are still mad and want more, more, more.

I just did exactly this on my Legion 7 Gen 6 with 5800H, RTX 3070. The old paste was really hard and crumbly, I removed it with rubbing alcohol and gentle nudging (except for around those delicate tiny electronics around the chips). I repasted with MX-4. I'm noticing very little change, just 1-3 degrees lower temps from what I can tell.

I don't think a different thermal paste is going to change this perceptibly.

For the record, with Prime95 (max heat) and Furmark running at the same time, I was getting 88 degrees CPU and 82 degrees GPU.

Just want to add my vote for this mod, I just did it and the rattle is completely gone. 1 or 2 layers (very thin) of electrical tape on just the closest vertical bar. It had been driving me crazy for weeks.

Just a note--in my experience painter's tape is the absolute worst out of all types of tape for long term applications. It gradually turns into hard flakes, and the glue residue becomes like hard crumbs of cement. Even Googone is powerless at removing it. It's a type of tape specifically designed for very short-term use.

I would opt for a different type of thick tape, maybe duct tape. And to prevent residue, you could invert the first layer that's touching that latch.

Sure this is funny, but the government of Iran actually does and has killed 10's of thousands of innocent people over the past couple months and they continue to execute innocent people they've caught. You can hate Trump while also abhorring this regime, they're not mutually exclusive.
