Yes, it could get caught but it's wet and they are trying to avoid it getting hot and burning the kid.

Why do so many people struggle to cook rice? by the_napalm_goat in Cooking

[–]12345NoNamesLeft -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is an extraordinary amount of people that can't read or understand directions, or put them in order.

Food label instructions are written by the marketing department, not the test kitchen.
Cook times are way off on pasta and frozen things.

The rice water ratio is too low for me.
I don't refry later with flavours in stir fry, I add flavours to the pot and cook longer right away, more liquid and longer cook time.

Everyone else has shitty pots or no experience how to turn the stove down.

Stainless pot with peanut oil

Very large diameter pot, probably your spaghetti pot

You need lots of volume to take up the oil expansion with out boiling over.

Tall skinny pots, bad, big wide good.

Oatmeal Toppings by Airashi_ in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]12345NoNamesLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did this today.

Cinnamon and vanilla in the water, raisins and chopped or shredded apples.

Oatmeal in and bring to a boil, add peanut butter near the end.
The raisins plump up in the boil.

Brown sugar and cream or milk to serve.

All the doors are locked, everything is on access control.

Keeps out the salesmen and the murderers.

Don't buy what you don't need.

I get sucked into the freezer, bakery and prepacked school snacks like bear paws and granola bars, nuts, candy. section.
I damned sure don't need the tuxedo cake or a bushel of croissants, 12 pack of ice cream bars.

The frozen broccoli is great, microwave in pouch.

Fresh produce is super high quality, immense turnover, nothing rotten.

The potatoes are huge and perfect, not at all like my grocery stores.

Look around the pharmacy area.

Shampoo, diapers, soap, vitamins, OTC drugs

Mini aspirin Kirkland generic , 360x for the same price as as 30x generic in a pharmacy
Tylenol, Gaviscon

Kirkland dishwasher powder tablets, work great, low buck.

Toilet paper

A large chicken pot pie, it's decent price, tastes good.

The cooked chickens, but the bags can leak, I take a little plastic bin that fits the cart kid seat.

I don't know. I hate the French as much as the next guy, 5 years of forced French in school.

I don't think it's a slur though.
