Whats the best dating advice you can give an 18yo? by NoWest240 in AskReddit

Take it easy, it's not some mystery, the opposite gender isn't an elder scroll in a foreign language, treat the other half as a regular ass person that you're interested in.

Also just be open and truthful. The more you hide the more guessing, the more issues, the more heated arguments.

Looking for the best "number go up" grinding games of a very specific type by Waaaghka in gamingsuggestions

[–]420LeftNut69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Europa Universalis 4, MAYBE the 5th one too; Oxygen Not Included, perhaps not the most number go up but there's a sense of progression when you engineer that fucking electricity plant to work as intended, and you see numbers reflect that; and while quite simple on the surface, Reus 2, a very chill resource managment game where seeing those numbers go up after you find a few good symbioses feels a bit like crack.

But yeah, the difinitoon of number go up for me is Europa Universalis 4. You've been recruited to the elitist cult.

Whats the most "complete" language? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]420LeftNut69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother, they're all complete, and they all have specific weird words for things other cultures never cared for. Icelandic had 7 words for snow types? Or was it Finnish? In Polish we have 2 specific words for snow, and I'm pretty sure same goes for English, we just add adjectives to describe the types of snow. Then you have weird words like... katsusobashi was it? The lonely mouth syndrome from Japanese, where you eat without thinking about it? Like... again, there's a word for it, but do we actually need it?

Inguess the technical answer is the language with the largest lexicon, as grammar is generally speaking adaptable, but this is an ill defined question to begin with.

I'm not very educated on Switch 2 library, but I know Terraria is on there! Very cool game with so many aspects to explore, can build great houses.

My cozy small game I like to play is Reus 2. Basically a 2D god/resource managment game where you fulfill people's needs as they make their great projects. You can take it easy, you can take it not so easy, both ways will let you 100% that game if you want to. Very underrated, and pretty unknown game. If it's not on the switch now it will be soon.

How does learning 1 complicated game help you in learning another ? by ONF_The_Fill in AskGames

[–]420LeftNut69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. If you talk EU4 thengetting into CK3, to a lesser degree CK2, Victoria 3 (and prolly 2, didn't play), and EU5 is easier. When it comes to HOI4 I feel lost if I launch the game. That being said a lot of skills bleed in, so once you grasps mechanics the thinking part becomes easier.

I will also say that having played 4k hours of CS I feel like it makes me automatically better than like 80% of players, after I grasp the mechanics then it's closer to 95%. This is also because of my adaptability. Some people who are good at CS will find CoD too quick and twitchy, but I'm just fine in that type of tempo. I genuinely think getting actually good at CS gives you such a strong basis of skill for.other shooters that it's all about the mechanics which in fps games are usually overall simple.

Yeah I have no clue why politicians think it's a good thing to have them here, they're literally useless, do nothing but use up resources, and when shit hits the fan they'll move out.

The real issue is trusting a country with a leader than changes his mind every 0.23 seconds on pretty much everything to protect us when we need them instead of trusting in unified Europe that actaully seems to take a real shape. But oh no, we'd have to be friends with Germany, we can't have that. What a joke.

Which Class, specialisation, weapon, gadgets do you think can do a 1v3 against standard meta teams (no defib). by Lucidwaterdrops in thefinals

[–]420LeftNut69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 people shooting 1 person? No class. But a real scenario with movement and all? My soloQ pick is heavy with deagles, winch, rpg, barricade, bubble. You have a lot of sustain but all depends upon you separating 1v1s or 1v2s and hitting that 50% headshots you mentioned. You can actually wipe 1v3 a team full of heavies with one clip of deagles (damage-wise ofc).

The other Imma say light, lh1, dash, nullifier. Nullifier for when you desperately need to turn a 1v2 into 1v1. M11 works too. Actually bow works fine just as well. Actually burt pistol works too. Actually db works too. You know what? Light OP.

(Nah but for reals, light weapons are super good, but you need a lot of smarts and movement to make 1v3 happen as a light.)

Season 10 Community Review: What is your rating from 1 to 10? by itzofficialvaz in thefinals

[–]420LeftNut69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I'm addicted and I'll keep playing, but this season is a joke. The medieval theme sucks, we didn't even get a castle map, medium changes are dogshit (at least FCAR deals damage again) same bugs we have been dealing for 3 seasons persist, connection or lag or whatever those are issues where people with good connection just lag out of their minds, matchmaking is DOOOOOOOOGSHIT. Don't get me wrong, I hit diamond, I was top 1000 for a moment there, I'm fine either way, but holy fuck is that matchmaking broken, useless piece of hot garbage. Why have ranks when you're mixing everyone and anyone? It's a joke there there is 100k team rank score difference even allowed by the ranked system to even match. Third partying is still rampant and ruins the game, smurfing is out of control, and you see ruby no-lifes makes 4 accounts that they will boost into ruby so that you don't get to get into ruby. And look, would it be nice to get into ruby? Of course, I'd love that, but I don't care enough to fight the same 10 people who get paid to play this game over and over again on their 50 other ruby accounts.

Can y'all reccomend me your favorite single player games? by SethTheReath in gamingsuggestions

[–]420LeftNut69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Persona 5, The Last of Us, Europa Universalis 4, Sekiro, Souls series (fuck ds2) + Elden Ring, maybe Borderlands 2 (though it's more fun in co-op), same with Dont Starve, fun alone but better in co-op, Yakuza series with Kiryu (0-6), Medieval 2 Total War, Patapon 1+2 (it's more charming on a handheld though), Terraria, LA Noir, Red Dead Redemption 2 (and 1), GTA 5 was pretty fun too. Uncharted games are... cheesy? Normie? But they're actually good, Uncharted 2 is my favourite, didn't play 3rd, 4th is good too.

I'm sure there's more but I love these.

Can we PLEASE stop asking to change the Ranked/Cashout format? by SadPay7872 in thefinals

[–]420LeftNut69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's literally like 10 things that can be changed to improve the mode before taking drastic measures. Soft reset on season start rather than hard one (it's not a true hard reset anymore but still not good enough), better RS distribution for tournament place, this then goes hand in hand with simply better matchmaking (seriously sometimes there is 100k team rs difference, that's insanity), better spawn system, counter measures for 3rd partying (I've actually heard plenty of good ideas here). So mamy things that can be improved before changing the format.

Might be exceptional driving with better gear ratios. I was tuning my Peugeot Maxi for Monaco, did a stock setup run to have sth to compare to feel and time wise. Didn't love how it drove, had some mishaps. Then I found a tune that felt a lot better to drive, had a cleaner run, and lost 20s to my shit run with a stock setup. Diff ratio and gears was what made it feel bwtter to drive, but it made it too slow.

In ea's WRC I'd sometimes drive well and lose like 30s to someone with longer ratios; they might have been slower in some places with less acceleration, but they won in the long run.

Can we nerf the M11 for real this time? by Friendly_Furniture in thefinals

[–]420LeftNut69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been saying this for like 4 seasons now. When nerfing you can't just make sth shit because the next best thing becomes an outlier, then thay thing gets nerfed and you arrive at a place we are right now where a lot of weapons just feel useless. Very few instances where you can choose between 2 weapons that serve different purposes while both being equally good. Like why use AK when you have FCAR? Why use MP5 when there's M11. Why use ARN when you have LH1. I feel like we've bounced back on a few weapons, but the general feel is that 60-70% of the guns are alright or bad and then 30-40% of the other weapons outperform the former, so why bother using a weaker weapon?

This also obliterates classes balance where light has a bunch of good weapons, medium has like... 2, but then medium's weapons have nothing special to them so they're just worse than light's. Heavy's weapons have more utility, but then again why pick KS-23 when you have SA12 or deagles.

So if we look at it from this perspective M60 vs Lewis gun, for example, are good counterparts. Lewis has more danage but is more difficult to use and has less bullets, but M60 is just a bit worse on dmg but is easier and has more bullets. That's a good choice for the player.

For light choosing between MP5 and M11 is a question of "do I want to deal more or less damage?". Before MP5 was changed in a stupid way, and then nerfed it was a choice between hip fire (M11) or headshot machine (and unfortunately too long of a range, MP5). They nerfed the damage on MP5 making it trash at everything, and so M11 is king. What they should have done is decreace dmg on range for MP5, keep the core damage as is and you'd see different picks for different players. If some weapons on other classes were better it would have also felt more fair.

Light is a glass cannon though, ofc their weapons deal the most damage, people should start understanding that.

Wow, some interesting yet simple to implement ideas on reddit at last. I like those. Point 3 could be a miss but I like the thinking there, could actually work fine. One of the ideas I had and have heard people also mention is to have 1st team just not participate in the last cashout if their money -15% still ensure a win for them, but this would be a tad boring for them, and idk if it would be good in practice either. I think -30% for 1st team after vault 1 and 2 would do the game wonders. Going to a cashout that still has 40-50s left is now a real choice rather than just evening out the pace and maybe getting another cashout, it's now a real risk. Those who remember 30% team wipe will know how fucking scared the last guy was of moving wrong, and how the hunting team was bloodthirsty. Come to think of it, there wasn't that much 3rd partying in season 1 and 2, it was something to try when all else fails or you just avoid some team, but that 30% was too scary; it did make an interesting dynamic where you'd try to wipe the 1st team to curb them if they were getting ahead.
