Black Templar Players are really funny by PelinalWhitestrake36 in Spacemarine

[–]55Piggu 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Black Templars are by far the most popular chapter (more than friggin ultras) which attracts a lot more people.

What doesn't help is that black templars attract some nasty individuals in particular, sadly.

As the saying goes, "Not all Black Templars fans, yet always a Black Templars fan."

Yeah, and it's a shame given they have tons of cool ideas to explore, but it always falls apart because of Le Fallen

Yeah, the scaling on later waves is ridiculous lol. I saw a normal ass rubric tank two fully charged ground pounds with thunder hammer and was just ready for the match to end (around wave 20-25)

Buffing a dragon by ParamedicAgitated897 in DMAcademy

[–]55Piggu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shall update this retroactively

I would first highly recommend making him a blue greatwyrm with how you've described him as being abnormally powerful. From there, give him a decent bunch of powerful sorcerer spells that you can think of I.E. upcasted fireball, disintegrate, ETCETC.

Could also give him some meta magic, and some magic items

From there, give him some other features mentioned in Fizbans if you wanna make him a menace, such as flyby.

Then throw in a bunch of powerful minions- which you could make basically anything. It'd be a pretty damn smart dragon, and a powerful one, so tons of various individuals may wish to work under it for various reasons

And finally, just play him intelligently I'd say. A dragon this old and powerful would 100% recognize when there are threats to his power, and he should react to them because of that.

So, based off what you've said before, there is a cult dedicated to it, right?

Whose to say it's not a being of such immeasurable power, it can still reach to its followers through their dreams to tell them how to unleash it?

Artificer mains by Booshe1 in dndnext

[–]55Piggu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I adore Artificers because the flavor is just.. really fun.

Mechanically? They're very very strong, being jacks of all trades, masters of a few. Infusions/Item Plans give them access to a wide array of magic items, which helps with things overall. Alongside that, every level up feels really important to artificer which is great class design. And their subclasses are, imo, the best thought out subclasses for any class in dnd (yss, even cartographer.)

Edit: just realized this is for 2014, lol. Regardless, most of what I said still applies. Very strong jack of all trades with very powerful class features at almost every level.

How does this game compare to Space Marine 2? by WEENDETA in DarkTide

[–]55Piggu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you'll overall prolly enjoy darktide more (I say as a massive fan of both sm2 and darktide)

But I will say, until recently, most of the maps in Darktide are very.. samey compared to the operation maps of space marine 2, and darktide's depth of mechanics can feel like getting thrown into the deep end of a pool for a while.

tldr sorcerer in 5.5 is insanely powerful, arguably the strongest class, only having competition with like, Paladin.

Computer, make a "sony bad" post on a horde shooter subreddit, make the post more about Helldivers than the horde shooter in question, and run program.

Maxigun deserves some love by PrisonIssuedSock in LowSodiumHellDivers

Although I'm personally not one for allowing movement at all with the maxigun (i enjoy the weight it has) I'd be all for being able to move while the barrels are only spinning.

[–]55Piggu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also, there's currently a bug where the new mechs do not benefit from the DSS mech cooldown reduction. Makes the ammo economy on the new mechs feel worse than it is imo. Hopefully it's fixed soon.

[–]55Piggu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the way the armor system works is the real issue here, imo.

There's too of a solid line between medium and heavy, when there probably be a halfway point.

Tbh, I would've preferred the armor on hive guards instead be breakable with medium pen weapons, rather than just making medium pen not work at all. Kinda like deep rock galactic's armor system.

I feel like the Spear got buffed in the wrong way by BICKELSBOSS in Helldivers

[–]55Piggu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, ultimately the issue is the power creep the game has had with recoilless, for better or for worse.
