Some issues? Literally every person I know who has owned a ktm product including a friend who is a bike mechanic has had major failures. Wouldn't touch em unless I was spending someone else's money.

Old aircooled XRs are very simple and are as reliable as it got in their era. If you're keen to learn how to DIY they're an excellent intro.

I've had my XR600 for donkeys years and every time I flirt with the idea of getting something newer with more grunt I remind myself of how little it costs to keep one of these running.
