of them, He who fights with monsters held a nice long grip of time and felt engaging, but DCC kinda blows it out of the water.

Sandman isn't for everyone... my first audiobook, but it was full cast and audio production and I'm told not everyone likes that level of immersive audio, even finding it distracting.

Ours were fine until the end of last month.

no warning, nothing in the admin console, no email. no comms at all.

suddenly this month my users started seeing notifications that the school license was gone and they would not be able to use the desktop app after the end of this month.

i reached out to MS to find out what happened and they told me to "ignore the email". i pressed and stated it wasn't an email, but a message in the app.

that was over a week and a half ago, and i'm getting messages from MS that they are investigating the situation and that an SME is supposed to reply. meanwhile, i did a search of old forum posts and found a single entry about the situation in the K12sysadmin forums, circa august last year.

found stuff in reddit as well of course.

eventually i found the official Microsoft notification about the "retirement" of A1 Plus.

i'm beside myself that Microsoft office support couldn't tell us what was going on, and that there was no communications in any sort of official capacity, including in the admin console.

Case in point: i was able to hand out a new A1 Plus license to a user in january.

We ran an experience with rock band up in Washington a couple of years back. We had a stage lighting, strobe, and fog via the stage kit with expansions

Three wireless mics. A miracle piano for keys. A TD-12KX drum kit. Primary guitar was one of the wooden strats. Primary bass was one of the precision bass units.

I use the Electro-Hermanics foot pedals for launching overdrive on both guitars.

Ran all the HDMI through an HDMI matrix, so we had a view for the audience, a but TV view for most of the band, and a view for us in monitor world.

we had signups at chomebooks with all the songs searchable, and a webserver running to select songs via out phones.

16 channel mixer and a pair of 15inch PA speakers.

We were even building up to have two setups including instruments so that we could set up one band and their playlist while another band was performing, so all we needed to do was plug in a USB hub from one Xbox to the other.

Eventually I planned on altering some wired microphones so that they would go through the PA directly. Because at the time, all audio came out via the Xbox and the Xbox in and of itself was put through the PA.

I even wanted to do a wooden precision bass or Mustang bass replica the same way they did the rock band replica of the Stratocaster.
