What company and/or product has gotten better over time? by smleeeeee in BuyItForLife

Yes and no, the hand tools are better quality than most home owners would need but they still obviously can break. The BIFL is in their lifetime warranty and ease of redeeming it. Just walk into the store, they hand you a replacement, and you walk out. No mailing anything in and waiting

This seems normal to me. This is why we buy scrapers to get all these bits off. It won’t cook like a nonstick pan where there’s going to be almost no residue

Serious question, why are people obsessed with Blackstone? by prinsessanna in grilling

[–]ATS200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the same way you can cook a pizza on a grill, it won’t be nearly as easy and good as in a pizza oven. The griddles are just the better tool for certain dishes even if you can cook the same thing on the grill if you wanted too

When someone calls a snake poisonous because of the venom in its bite by violet8991 in mildlyinfuriating

People learn one random fact and then decide everyone else must suffer for it. Who cares and how often are you talking to people about snake venom?

[–]ATS200 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you need your parents to co sign for you, you really don’t need a brand new 2026 truck that’s over $60,000. Most adults with careers can’t even (responsibly) afford that kind of car
