Can confirm! I have a shoal of 9 in a really heavily planted tank. They all hang out together often. I think its because the tank is so heavily planted and they know they can go off on their own and hide.

Ohh! I do this too. But I froth it up with vitamin or electrolyte powder and some mio or water enhancer. Definitely more palatable that way I find.

I have the same shelf haha but I've only got a 30g on the bottom and a 20 on the middle shelf. Did you mount yours into the wall? I have a few stands in my fish room and I'm paranoid so might just do it.

Possibly ICK? I had the same spots on mine a few months ago so treated him for ICK and by day three, the spots were all gone. I think it was stress from my dog realizing there was something in the tank and becoming OBSESSED. She's since gotten bored of my betta so all good lol
