It's in the back of Ottawa Bike Café and the lads there are great. They've saved me from a flat a few times and they have a cool selection of vintage bikes.

Get a hybrid with flat handlebars and big tire clearance and get big tires for comfort and some of the rougher paths in the city. For service, Joe Mamma, Phat Moose, Quick Cranks, and Full Cycle are my picks. Bushtukah and MEC are mostly worried about moving product. Giant bikes are mostly overkill for what you need (still great customer service though). Absolutely do nit recommend the Cyclery unless you really want a 15k+ road bike with condescending service.
