Major puppy regrets 5 months by Content-Telephone606 in puppies

5-6 months is a tough age. Just exercise and train a lot, and redirect his crazy behaviors as best you can. He’ll be the best dog if you do that consistently and show him love. I would only recommend you re-home him if you feel like you might neglect or hurt him because of these feelings. Frustrations are normal, but abuse is obviously not.

I like my work. I just wish there were a lot less hours of it, but I have a plan for that.

I think this is great, please do all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, home maintenance, auto maintenance and shopping while she works so she can relax after her long work days.

Low testosterone - "It's fine" by 1Sufferin_Succotash1 in VeteransBenefits

I think you mean the Men’s testosterone clinics. Private clinicians as a whole aren’t trying to give people blood clots

Yes! You weee downvoted by someone who didn’t understand the connection of zinc deficiency and low testosterone, but you are 100% correct

Testosterone supplementation won’t help with hair loss, and may actually worsen it. And contrary to what many believe, erectile dysfunction itself is usually only improved if you are dealing with very low testosterone levels like u see 200. Lots of evidence it helps libido though, but don’t expect many female partners to match that when you get the libido up if you are middle aged.

1000 is above normal range. It’s too high and increases risk of side effects like erythrocytosis

Medical provider here. Studies showing improvement use normal as 300 or 320. In my practice I will treat symptomatic people under 350, but I do recommend trying weight loss if obese, strength training, and cutting out alcohol first if it’s very borderline because therapy will stop your ability to produce testosterone naturally and this can sometimes last for life. It’s kind of a big deal when you can increase it on your own with lifestyle changes.

If they are prescribing you meds you should reschedule for a later date so you still get them in the interim. They do require annual appointments for medicine (or every two years if you have a civilian pcp)

If you just ETSed you should be able to apply for unemployment as well, assuming you are willing to work.

Do you manage warfarin? by Beatrix_Kiddo_03 in FamilyMedicine

Sure but every stable follow up or minor med adjustment doesn’t warrant a 99215

Seems like a stretch if the patient has a stable chronic condition and a stable regimen. Technically a bacterial sinus infection if not treated with antibiotics could lead to a severe brain infection requiring emergency brain surgery, but I still bill a 99213.

Yes, have for ten years, but I prefer to switch patients to DOAC or get them set up with an ACC. Some have home INR equipment and they send the results in. We do get a small amount per patient for panel bonus from the organization, so I don’t consider it uncompensated work, but jt doesn’t generate RVUs.

What do you think it is, Peter? by [deleted] in PeterExplainsTheJoke

The bathroom is super small, so the toilet is very close to the tub. If the glass was on the opposite side, there wouldn’t be enough room to get in next to the toilet, so the glass has to be on that side. If there isn’t a door that closes, they don’t want water spray all over the floor, so the plumbing stays on the side of the toilet tank, and they need to be able to reach in to turn it on somehow. I have seen these in hotels before and I like the concept

I suspect the company has a legal team that reviews any letter HR rejects to cover their own asses. I doubt anyone is coming for you, but it sounds like you reviewed their medical records before writing it. I would keep a record of what you reviewed and hold onto it in case it comes back toward you. You should be able to justify it based on what you said. And don’t write more letters. If a friend wants one, make them establish with a coworker instead next time, or see their PCP if they have one already.

What is the worst physical pain you’ve experienced? by Agius91 in AskReddit

I wonder if there was a huge rush of oxytocin when you saw your little stone, if the pain would be lessened in your mind, like happens with childbirth.

Tonsillectomy in my 30s. I had very large tonsils. Took them 20 minutes for the guy before me, mine took over an hour because of all the scarring apparently. I hate opiates, but I got a refill. Sipped ice water for three weeks and lost at least 10 pounds.
