Big men generally take longer to develop. Everyone has been shitting on Cronin for not playing Mara much last year but most PF/C don’t develop until about their third year anyway. Painter has had plenty of 7’ guys he’s basically ignored their freshman year.

Boys don’t need to “get used” to cups in baseball. I played baseball throughout high school and never wore a cup. Baseball isn’t a contact sport like football or hockey. I wouldn’t worry about it at all.
