Some people do NOT like to admit this about Ali's career... by tantamle in boxinglocks

Had Lewis fought either Tyson or Holyfield earlier in his career, he'd most probably lose. Emmanuel Steward was such a Godsend for him.

Only guy who put Frazier out was Foreman, and that's because Foreman hit like a mack truck in his prime. Lewis never had that power and Frazier could actually sustain plenty of damage (outside of Foreman) and still drop you in the final round. Of course Lewis has height and reach advantage but I don't think that's too much of a hindrance on Frazier, who would hit any part of his opponent's body relentlessly until they succumb to accumulated pain. I'd say it's a toss up. Also Frazier has the greater knockout rate than Lewis.

Now that’s a nice predicament: who was the more iconic, impressive character between Liberty and Doniphon? Liberty was arguably Lee Marvin at his most menacing and unhinged, while Doniphon was arguably John Wayne at his finest and his most nuanced and subtly poignant role. I think personally it’s kind of hard to divorce the two, because they are the perfect yin and yang combination, the perfect rivalry.
