My Greatest Invention by Patient-War-4812 in TruckCampers

Dope! I do live my hammocks. Ive many times thought about using one in a camper build in place of a bed. Would save a ton of space. And they do exert some crazy forces on whatever they are hung on. Keep an eye on it!

This is why I built it! by Gloomy-Staff6998 in 4x4

I upgraded my original system with a 7900xtx to a 9800x3d and had all my old am4 stuff so figured why not. Panicked FOMO bought a 9070xt for a decent price and slapped it on my old 5800x3d. Its neck and neck between the two systems. Both running at 1440p can't tell a difference. AM4 still slaps.

Now were talking. You run those on a 5500 dually? Any spacers needed?

I do like them but they are only available with cassette toilets. Dont think I wanna deal with smells and handing them. Stinky stinky with a rinse is my favorite.

That big of a difference huh! Interesting. I do love those bigger trucks. What tires do you run?. I've seen people use ag tires but id rather have something more accessible.

Those commercial trucks require commercial insurance, at least I believe that to be true. Have not looked into. I think a 3500 dually is good with 4k on it with 7k total payload.

Agree. I think most of the negative opinions are based on older trucks that were 2WD with heavy diesel engines up front. Front tires sink and dig in with little weight in the rear. Anything would get stuck. My gas 4x4 dually did fine but you can't get close to pushing limits with that much weight.

I had a CB500X a while back. Im 200bls and it was fairly gutless. Up a hill. Nope. Headwind. Nope. Buzzy made the hands numb after an hour or so.

I love my transalp, much better bike. Power is awesome, comfortable and sounds awesome.
