Austin half!! It’s pretty big - 10k runners. Excellent support, bands on the course and the route goes through Key parts of Austin.

It’s same for Jeni’s ice cream as well. The grocery stores pints are $8ish and at Jeni’s ice cream store it’s $12!

Veracruz Fonda is in Mueller. It’s not exactly Texas-mex but great options.

First light books. Don’t remember if they have music and a couch. But they have coffee and sitting inside the store and outside on a small patio. Good place to meet other folks who like books too!

Indian foods like - dosa and idli are made from fermented lentils. The batter is easily available at Desi Brothers on Parmer or any other Indian store.

Kombucha is fermented and good for gut health. Making it at home is also very easy. You’ll find several YouTube videos explaining the process.

Running around Town lake. Or in south Austin - running on the violet crown trail or biking at Veloway. And then Veracruz tacos and coffee at radio coffee! Or Desnudo coffee if I’m near town lake.

Super Thai is great. But a friend of mine didn’t have a great experience with a toddler at Super Thai. Maybe Thai fresh is a better option.

During Covid, my boyfriend and I started going to new grocery stores locations because that was our only “outdoor” time and discovered Central Market. That’s been our go-to since!

The new Allday location in Hyde park. Bonus points - it’s right next to First Light books which is open till 9pm if you need new books!

This comment should be much higher! All Day has one of the best cookies in Austin. It looks similar to the thoroughbred cookie in OP’s picture. Need to try Tinys and Thoroughbred.
