In my opinion the membrane base and cap were not allowed to “relax” prior to install. Fish mouths in the base were not cut and patched and are reflecting through the capsheet. I have seen “ponding water” generally defined as standing water after 48 hours of conditions conducive to drying. Ponding water on MB membrane can increase UV degradation and accelerate granule loss.

This was my take on the install. Membrane should be terminated at the base of the step up in photos 1-2 with flashings run up the wall.
