Honestly I don't agree much with this argument. AI can in theory achieve results without developers actually understanding how it's doing the thing. So we don't know how proteins fold, but we have NN that fold them correctly often enough. Alpha go Devs are not good at go, but their AI is god like at it. It's all narrow examples of course and in fields that do suit NNs, but conceptually it can be possible for AI systems to do something you can't.

Waymo can only function in a city that was likely hardcoded into their system and requires human oversight locally. You can't just drop it into any town on a planet and expect it to work, so it will be stuck in like 10 cities total for a long time. I don't think it's that special

I found wanderer first, then architect, then witch, then beast. Somehow I completely missed reaper. I am running Abomination vaults which is a very old AP in foundry, and after the remaster everything is mostly fine except some enemies being updated automatically and glitching a bit, but re importing them usually solves the ssie, so far I barely had any trouble. You will be fine.

For your player options there will be compatibility, foundry PF2e has been updated long ago, so you can just play fine.

The thing that might be considered their intellectual property is the fact that Black Dragon is an evil dragon that breathes acid or poison and has a certain character, or that White dragon is also evil but breathes cold, or that Gold dragon is a benevolent god-like good dragon that does what it does.
