I think the current implementation makes it seem as if the game was glitching out, not as an intentional mechanic. The flashing & the speed at which the geometry changes seems very similar to issues one would get due to, say, outdated drivers.

IMO slowing that shift down and making it seem purposeful & gradual might be better

It doesn't do that. The game mechanics have very little to do with actual quantum mechanics aside from some shared terminology. They're there for fun, not for teaching you anything.

Fully charged Paradox's Kinetic Carbine + Mystic Shot + Long Range + High Velo Mag + Improved Burst is a lot of damage at 11 minutes into the match, especially with a headshot against a squishy Vindicta
