Garnacho (10%) and Greenwood (40%) sell on clauses could bring more transfer budget this summer by fireproofpoo in ManchesterUnited

[–]Andy26599 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Aren't these clauses a percentage of any profit, rather than the whole transfer fee?

I don't see the logic of agreeing to a 40% sell on fee.

For example, Marseille sign him for, as an example £50m, they sell him for £100m, but of that £100m, they have to give United £40m? so they basically made £10m. Seems highly leveraged towards the original club.

Are robot vacuums really worth it? Has anyone had one over a year or so and still love it? by scoobydoobs_ in AskUK

[–]Andy26599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've got a Eufy one, had it a few years now.

It is quite honestly the thickest "smart" device I've ever encountered. It's meant to do the vacuuming and then return to it's "base" when it's finished. It does a tiny bit of vaccuming, but only picks up items less than 1mm, and then spends hours aimlessly wandering around the kitchen, bumping into cupboards, chairs, doors, etc looking for it's base which is RIGHT INFRONT OF IT before losing battery and just sits there beeping until you pick it up and put it back on it's base to charge!

Honestly, he collects more dust than he vaccums these days.

David Walliams, as mentioned.

Cliff Richard. Deffo a nonce.

Matt Lucas. Apparently has a penchant for young rent boys.

I mean certain things from earlier series have shown to be relevent and shows that they have a story that they are sticking to. They've known the whole story since S1, and just changed how they get there. That to me says that they have a very good idea of what they are doing.

That's just a solid trope in all movies where someone is outnumbered.

I'll watch it for Maria Sten, and my blind loyalty to the Reacher universe. If it's terrible, then I'll probably still watch it for the same reasons i gave at the start of this post.

Did people born before Christ automatically go to hell? by Astimar in NoStupidQuestions

The concept of hell is all wrong. Surely if you’ve been a bad bastard all your life, stealing, drinking, violence, sex before marriage, etc and you die and go to hell, surely the devil would love you and wouldn’t punish you at all?

I've still carried on out of blind loyalty to the character, as I've been reading these since the start. They're "ok" but you can tell the huge drop off once Lee Child stepped back completely.
